SEPTEMBER

Snowmass Balloon Festival - The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to Snowmass Village annually each September. The event will include three days of morning balloon launches and a Friday evening Balloon Night Glow.

OCTOBER

Leaf Peeping Season - From mid-September through October, Snowmass’ mountain beauty gradually shifts from bluebird skies and wildflowers to swaths of leaves glittering gold in the crisp mountain air. The best way to experience the phenomenon is on foot or bike along Snowmass’ endless trails that weave through some of the most picturesque aspen groves in Colorado.
